After 3 years...

After 3 years of pain using this old p2 266@300, I'm finally gonna put it into retirement.

Ordered my AMD Thunderbird 1.33, Abit KT7A, and a Thermaltake Dragon Orb 3 on saturday night. This to go along with my Geforce 2 GTS and 256 megs of ram... And all of a sudden I'm not so inferior anymore....

I just got done putting my K7T Pro2-a mobo, 1.33 T-Bird system together but one prob. I forgot I sold my vid. card and now I have to get a new one. Probly a GF2 but I have to wiat til payday(Thurs.)

The AMD 1.33 GHz TBird is the best of the Birds, in my experience.

The 1 GHz runs too hot.

The 1.2 GHz runs almost as hot as the 1 GHz.

The 1.33 GHz runs cooler, more slabler and OC's nicely and is a bit more fun that the 1.4 GHz: the latter is strictly business. Kind of like running a 600E PIII ... sorry 600E fans.

I also ran a (Creative) Geforce2 GTS ... great benches.
