Former Aide in Memo Leak Seeks Probe of Democrats for Corruption.

WASHINGTON — A top Senate attorney who resigned under pressure this month following a controversial leak inquiry says he will continue to bring attention to the Democratic memos at the heart of the investigation despite focus on the questionable acquisition of the documents.
Manuel Miranda, who worked for Senate Majority Leader Bill Frist, has filed a complaint with the Senate Ethics Committee charging that hundreds of damning memos currently in the hands of investigators prove serious public corruption by Democratic senators and their aides.

No, you won't find such potentially damaging stuff at CNN or CBS.

Moreover, I seriously doubt this is going to go away anytime soon. The contents of those memos shows just how corrupt facets of our political system have become... and yes, it's not just the Democrats either.

I am not saying this person should not be punished for stealing documents against the policies of the DNC.

But the question remains should the information be used to punish wrong doing.

is the interaction between special interests funding kennedy's campaigns and his blocking of judicial nominees germane to the evaluatin of Kennedy. Sounds like a little quid pro quo there.

Now I do not know all the stuff in these memo's and it might be alot to do about nothing. But assuming the worst, nepatism, quid pro quo, and such. Should the information be surpressed or used against the democrats as well as punishing the leak.

Should leaked information always be surpressed? If not when should it be surpressed and when should it be used?

No ilegally obtained informatio may be used in a court of law.
I know this goes against what ashcroft and His mentor hitler believe but right now it is the law.

Evidentiary rules used in congress and congressional probes are not subject to the same rules as your local civil court.

Also the information was on government property. payed for in wages of those who wrote them on government time.

I do not support going into kennedys house and ripping out his hard drive to find out if it has anything dirty on it.
