Saw that yesterday on the news.

Already have two complete sets (one unopened ) on VHS.

Guess three copies won't hurt.

Good. It's the Special edition, but that's the enhanced star wars.

To make the special edition, they had to completely remaster the original master copys be ause the colors had deteriorated quite badly on those. So I don't really see how they could release a high-def version of the classic edition without it costing them a fortune to remaster it again.

plus, how are they gonna put 5.1 in the classic edition and make it sound good?

I got bored at x-mas time and made a DVD Set from my parents boxed set of the VHS. its a nice set and in pretty good condition. It has a box for all 3 films and when you lift the top of the box off the sides open up and have little blurbs about the movies... cool box set with some nice artwork. I will be interested in seeing the special features disk
