I actually liked clark in the first days leading up to his campaign. He said a few interesting things. Then a few days later he switched position like 6 or 7 times and I pretty much knew then that he was attempting to be an uber politician. A man of no convictions tayloring his message to the venue. he could not deal with multi-venue environment and he imploded.
He no longer needed to run; he served his purpose. Clinton put him in there to take steam away from Dean. Then Dean helped damage himself anyway. Don't fool yourself, Clark was never a real candidate. He was just a patsy.
I see, he was a front for the Clintons. Makes sense, actually. It explains why he supports the war before it starts, then changes his mind after he jumps into the race.
