CNN - One of the companies to pay Kerry $1,000 for a speech in 1987, Miami-based Metalbanc, was later indicted, along with two executives, on charges it helped the Cali drug cartel in Colombia launder money in the United States. The charges eventually were dropped because the firm was defunct.

Proof of ties to Drug Cartel? I say yes! This is more than adequate proof.

The funny part for me wallie is that had this post come from anyone else, or had it been posted without the obvious jibe, I might have had an open mind about the story and point you were trying to make.....

I also find it ironic that you lambaste the likes of CNN as "left-wing" media any time they print anything questionable about G.W., but are perfectly willing to help them sensationalize a story that most likely was only made public because it would be "sensational" and garner attention.

If they feel it necessary to bring a story about one of their boys to the table,,,, man that is very telling.

Generally speaking a left wing news outlet will report just about anything. They will just work harder to lambast their ideological adversary more often.

They have made an apparent attempt to be more fair middle of the road AFAIAC lately.

Though I do not view someone with ties to a business who launders money for a criminal as having ties between the candidate and the criminal organization.
