I always had a thing for Australia, probably because I would want to meet some of TBC's shady friends.
Where in Australia would you be visiting? I would imagine that'd make a huge difference. |

Australia. The only country where every single creature apart from the sheep is very, very, dangerous.

Oo, ooo, can I help you decide?
Actually, both can be pretty good, and both can be tourist dollar traps.
Depends on what your plans are / budget is. Both have good backpacker accommodation and transport. Australia is LOT bigger than the Kiwi Islands, so if you are on a limited budget it's better to stick to a couple of places unless you are planning on biking or something.
You have room and board? That will very much impact where you can go and what to see in Oz. NZ is easier to travel most of (even by bike) as it's small. Oz is a BIG place, despite what you mght think. Lots of miles between anything here.
Anyhow, I'd be happy to help with info on Oz if you need it.
Cheers
Mick

Not pretty.

Where does sis live? That will give me an idea on what you might get to see / do.
Nothing like some time with little nieces and nephews to teach you child management skills, eh?
Cheers

I see Vert's online so maybe you might get some unbiased opinions about New Zealand as well!

Oh, yeah, Blaze, they (your bro and sis) are looking forward to a free baby sitter!!
Oh, you better believe it!! I've been there!
But...seriously, though, If you have an opportunity like this, it's gonna ROCK!
Plus, I think ol' Mick is steering ya pretty straight...you're, what, 15? A perfect time in your life to see and understand these wonderful little creatures!
And if ya have to actually baby-sit, well, that's all different... |
