This ship seems to make the rounds on the Internet.

Last time it was for sale, it was $4.5 million.

The vessel has many uses because of its size, accommodation, and onboard equipment. Some suggested uses have been Offshore Casino, Resort, Amusement Park or Private Yacht
now there is some thinking ..... private yacht ... you wouldn't have to worry about seado's buzzing ya ...

Awwww....I once had a fantasy...

(after paying $70 freakin' bucks to send a tiny package of computer bits to our buddy Mickwish [which he promptly reimbursed me for, good man] but to make a long story even longer).....

Why not buy a rusty old scow (a freighter, seaworthy, but just barely,) (meaning, CHEAP) and set up a trans-Pacific transport service, where comp geeks could send/recieve stuff from Australia and New Zealand for maybe 20 bucks?

We'd have a WONDERFUL time of it! Plus, we'd afford those delightful Aussie gals sea passage to America for idiotically low rates!

Party on the poop deck! Long, lazy days on the Pacific Ocean, with a load o' freight belowdecks, and a mess o' them Aussie gals tannin' their lovely hides abovedecks!

I just can't see a downside to this idea! WHOO WHOO!! And, YAAAAAR, mateys!

I think a PT boat would be more fun. Any of those nasty jetskis buzz you, you just pepper their fannies with a 50 cal.

Wonder if I could get it Fed-Ex'd to Lake Erie?

I don't think it would be physically possible to get that ship into Lake Erie. It think it's too big for any of the canals.

It would have to sit on one of the coasts...

Go ahead, laugh at me all you want, but seriously, if I had $7 mil, I would seriously consider this ship. It looks pretty cool. I would be taking driving lessons forever just to make a turn with it, but it would make a interesting item to own. Only problems I see:

1. Money (not a problem if I had $7 million)

2. Parking. Exactly where do I park this?

3. Upkeep. Why do I need a 75,000 gallon tank for aviation fuel? Maybe convert it to a tank for the engine fuel?

I like the idea of using it as a "shipping service" to oversea areas, and even shipping big things (cars for example) I could find a way to pay off the $7 million quick

Okay, let the laughing begin. Yes, I would probably buy it if I had that much money!!!
