Hey guys play fair!
Poor ol' Jacob has the knowledge even if he hasn't had the chance to put it into practice. And most of it he would have gleaned from you guys anyway. So what you are saying is that you don't know enough to teach him!
Me, I've plenty of practise in putting together and taking apart PC's , if you count the 286's, 386's and 486's that I picked up thrown out of schools and businesses and put back togheter for friends. I'd never even assembled at ATX board before I splashed out and bought some bits and assembled a Duron 800 system last year. Never ever touched a Slot 1 or Socket 370 processor. So does that make me computer illiterate or inexperienced? Do I have to be up with the latest technology to meet your approval?
I also have only just discovered on-line forums, having mainly been a computer mag junkie for years. You should see my stack of cover CD's!
And I'm not even A+ certified (...yet...one of the local computer mags has a free A+ cert course in the offing currently...)
So I vote Jacob keep's his posts. Does my vote count? After all, I haven't been here long.
