How do you kill the big guy (the grey head) that comes out around stage 11?

I had everything but the mana pool.

Old game but a good one.

Save all your money and get the temple, then the mana pool.

Drag guys into your castle one a a time to convert them, and make them mages. Use the mage spells to kill the big guys.

Get ~100-150 mages. Watch your upkeep.

After this just build TONS of archers. Eventually the game will play itself. You just have to hit OK at the end of the round.

Level 16 but I only have 20 archers
and a few of the magic folks.

I saved when I should not have and cant pass the stupid level.

I need bodies.

How do smeg do you lose archers and mages? Those big fellas totally ruined my castle because most of my mages and archers disappeared when I finished a round.

Kinda` addictive at first. Till I lost all my units in a single round. Can`t keep up with the influx of people.

You have to watch your upkeep.

You need to have your upkeep at the *beginning* of the round, not the end after you get paid.

This means if you ever spend all your $$$, you WILL lose all your guys.
Upkeep is around $400 per unit but varies by type.
