Outdoors Kerry wants to serve us up the terrorists

He wants to mimic Clinton's policies of dealing with terrorism. Remember when the WTC was originally bombed in the 90's, and Clinton didn't even visit the site? Embassies in Africa were bombed, and Clinton sent in the lawyers. Clinton never did anything to show we were ready to combat terrorism head-on, and look where it got us. Now this jerk Kerry wants to go back to the same do-nothing policies. God help us if he beats Bush.

Why don't you blame the cold weather on Clinton as well as all the rest of dumbyas foulups. Clinton fired a missle at Osama and missed so he is a bad president, the shrub has invaded two countries killed over 600 Americans and thousands of middle easterners and he missed Osama but he is a hero. You need to borrow some of lamebaughs pills.

You mean he fired missiles at camps that were known to be abandoned? That's what happened. He bombed Iraq for no real reason too, other than to possibly distract us from the impeachment hearings. Oh, and let's not forget about the pill factory in sudan. I guess for kicks we should also include the fact that the Sudan government offered us bin Laden while Clinton was in charge, and we turned down the offer. That worked out really well, didn't it?

At least he showed enough respect to honor the fallen troops and not try to hide the casualties like this present administration.
When is the shrub going to attend a funeral for one of our fallen heroes?
Out of sight out of mind just bring them home after dark and bar all cameras. Don't call them body bags call them "shipping containers"

Sounds familiar.

I guess just because the media makes a show of every soldier that dies, it means that our President should as well? Whether you believe it or not, our soldiers are dying for a worthy cause, and I respect my President's decision to mourn the deaths in a way he sees fit. It is sad to hear of each death, but soldiers do die in the line of fire, and I'm glad my President hasn't decided to get on the screen and cry real tears (instead of Clinton's fake ones) just to win some popularity points.

"Democratic presidential front-runner John F. Kerry pledged on Saturday that if he becomes president he'll treat terrorist acts against the U.S. as a law enforcement problem rather than as acts of war"

Why doesn't he just call open season on America? If terrorism is not an act of war then we won't be able to go to other countries to get bad guys and stop training camps. It's funny how when we attacked the problem where it began "at it's source" it stopped. Why was there no repeat of 911? Maybe because we treated it like an act of war and didn't leave it up to the NYPD

Since 9/11, U.S. terrorism experts have said that the Clinton administration's legalistic approach to fighting al-Qaeda not only proved ineffective - it actually emboldened bin Laden to the point where he thought he could launch an attack on U.S. soil without prompting a serious military response.
Open mouth, insert foot.
This is one of the lamest ideas I've seen.

I am not sure how you treat it as a police action in another nation.

you have no police authority in pakistan, iran, Syira... As such you have no ability to treat things like this in a police capacity. As such you are saying that you will do nothing unless you manage to capture them after an attack.

Kind of boring capturing buring embers and putting them in jail. Just does not work all that well. Suicide attacks leave few people in the US to arrest and jail.

You may say that there are better alternatives to war but do not claim that simple police response will accomplish anyting.

As a matter of fact, Mr. Goodbytes, if you read David Kay's report, you'll find out something interesting. When Clinton bombed Iraq in 1998, the Republicans claimed it was "wagging the dog" to distract people from the Lewinsky affair. In fact, it destroyed Saddam's last facility capable of producing chemical weapons.
