I used to do weird things in physics.....like going A-,A-,D+..stuff like that....even Newton cant explain those things!

How about Newton tells me how fast I have to throw this book to make it to the fireplace?

I was taking physics (hard) and at the same time taking QPS (easy)..so in qps I was sort of a cut-up. One day the teacher said was giving us a little quiz..he asked....

A cat weighs 20lbs. If it falls out of a window does it weigh any less or any more?

I said in mock seriousness....."what color is the cat?"

The class thought it was very funny..the teacher didnt. He took me aside and we had a nice little conversation about it,lol.

That's a lame teacher. Even I could appreciate the absurdity and humor of that comment.

oh yeah, u had to be there cuz it was way better in person...I cant remember but I think I had made several comments to that point...but this one just went too far! lol. The room broke up laughing but the teacher just had a frozen half smile....

He said something like "you think your funny huh?"

I was like "gulp"

Newton woulnd't tell you to throw the book into the fireplace... He loved books, I think the bloke had an amazing collection of both mathematical and scientifical books.

Guy was a bit of a crazy bloke though, not very nice either.

JP, man, that teacher was an idiot, of course it weighs less!!! ().

well obviously... it was a calico. Now, long haired persians weigh more while falling...at least in the western hemisphere.....

Does the cat make a sound while falling? I ask that cause if it makes sound the air molecules will vibrate at a different rate then if it is silent, and that iwll be necessary to determine frictional force.
