This is why Tom Brady...

...ain't going to the Pro Bowl. Dumb, dumb play.

It's looking like it may come down to Vinatieri again. If Brady can get his head out of his donkey.

What a game! Outstanding. Too bad the Panthers couldn't pull it out. Great game overall!!! Top 3 SBs of all time, I think.

Yeh, what a jerk. All he gets is a lousy Super Bowl ring and MVP award.

He didn't deserve the MVP award either, IMHO. He's an average quarterback surrounded by a stellar team and coached by the best.

Fair enough. Who gets it, then?

I have to disagree about him being average. If being average means two rings I will take average. The final drive yesterday was great. He also broke the record for number of completions

I know this will never happen, but the team as a whole deserved it, with a big chunk going to the one guy who saved the Pat's butt in two Super Bowls, Sir Adam.

EDIT: And don't forget, there's more to completions than the quarterback. The receivers have to be open and the QB needs the time to throw. Again, the team holds the record here.

I agree its the TEAM not one player, personally I would have maybe given MVP to Vrabel, but I still wouldnt call Brady average

I am no expert, and that was the first game of American Football I have ever watched (other than flicking through the channels )..

But was it just me, or was Peppers seriously weak for his role?

And I agree with M_Six... records like completions are just as much down to the blockers protecting the QB and the receiver being free and able to catch the ball...

Bledsoe was average! Brady has a much better head for the game although he does make some mistakes (Don't we all) but he's still a young guy. He has the heart and the drive to end up being one of the greats of the game. Besides what other Patriots quarterback has had a team play for him the way these guys do.
