Image hosting for TIMO members

I was wasting a lot of bandwidth every month so I decided to do something about it:

Images.rms13.com

It is a work-in-progress but feel free to grab an account there. All I ask is that you:

(a) Use your Timo name.
(b) Keep it rated PG13 or better.
(c) Give me feedback on what would make the gallery better for you.


I have already made more "little" changes to the gallery than I can count with plenty more still on my mind (sadly, I must sleep sometimes). For me though, thats half the fun of having it. I love to tinker which is why I want feedback.

You will find a forum that exists solely to provide a fixed location for advice, tips, and questions. For the moment you will have to register on the gallery and the forum but hopefully this will be fixed soon. (unfortunately, the usual hack for this involves having coppermine access the ipb database and I need mine to work the other way around, it'll take time )

Even if you don't need a place for images your comments are always welcome.

I can't take much credit for the way the site looks other than having added/removed some objects from the skin and recoloring it but I think the results are nice.

I will be making a forum theme to match the site at some point though.

That's a cool idea, I attempted this a while ago with the same gallery software but had to kill the project for something else.

ClubMed, actually you gave me the idea.

I really wanted to do something with the 50GB+ bandwidth that wasn't being used so when I saw you had removed your gallery the decision was made.

Not many takers on my offer though. Hmmm.

BTW, I have been asked if you could link your images to other sites. The answer is yes, you can link them wherever you want and anyone can view images. I'm just limiting the registration to TIMO members. (for now)

Also, I'm still organizing the wallpapers I put there so they may seem to pop up and then disappear from time to time.
