New Disease Outbreak!!! "Democratic Selective Amnesia"

Please, please donate to this worthy cause!!!

Maybe we can stomp it out in our lifetimes!!!

Quote:
Amazing how most of the Democratic Party has come down with a severe case of Democratic Selective Amnesia (D.S.A. as it is known in most medical circles) when it comes to Weapons of Mass Destruction. They want to blame President Bush for not finding WMD's in Iraq, and are accusing our President of lying to the American people to justify the war. Well, the following should "ring a bell" with most Democrats. After all, they said it!

If Bill Clinton invaded Iraq and no WMD were found, these same talking heads would be ranting for his Clinton's head. The fact is, Bill Clinton didn't invade Iraq and therefore has no explaining to do. George W. Bush, on the other hand, did invade Iraq. He has the explaining to do.

MTA how much did that salvo of rockets sent into iraq cost?

How much did 12 years of containment cost?

How many people died as a result of containment?

How many people died when the un did not assist the shiites?

How many people died at the hands of the secret police?

How many were simply tortured?

How much would it cost us in 20 years after containment was lifted? That one is speculative? but I suspect that action would be an eventuality that is unavoidable given time and freedom to saddam and his boys.

How much money would we save if the show of force swayed NK not to attack SK, and brought iran to the IAEC bargaining table?

I do not know myself. But I have my suspicions that there are far reaching benefits if IF all goes well and some that have already been felt.

BTW Clintons raid killed thousands (at least iraqi claims)

So you do not mind civillian deaths that provide no net gain.

But civillian deaths that potentially improve the life of the remaining ones are bad.

Acting on intelligence when authorizing force is ok when the decision is wrong. Launching missiles killing civillians is ok if intelligence is bad. But accomplishing the dethroning of a universally despised dictator is somehow a bad thing when compared with missiles launched with no foreseen benefit and killing hundreds perhaps thousands of innocents.

I think I understand

I don't think its so much a problem with the democrats. They know they're spouting long do-do. I think it's more a social issue. The general public has a very short political memory. The lefties then, treat them like they're stupid and try to fill them with B.S. rhetoric they know isn't true.

Right, and so is Rush Limbaugh...

By the way, there was really no need to bump this thread.
