Seeking new ISP

I'm looking for a new ISP and was wondering what you guys used?

Ideally (but not required), the ISP would cost $10 a month or less, and provide usenet (newsgroup) access.

You will need to investigate which ISP's serve your calling area. Being in Sacramento, you should have some good choices available. In my region, the only thing available to us at $10 bucks or less is Juno.. and the online time is limited.

NetZero Unlimited Access = $9.95

I don't use them cause we have free Comcast Cable but if broadband was not an option and we had to pay for dial up this is who we would go with.

NetZero and Juno are one and the same...having merged (or Juno bought it out last year)...NetZero still exists as an ISP because Junos software...like AOL..is propritary...NetZero is like any 'normal' ISP.

I had NetZero, and still have Juno as a standby..both are overloaded with subscribers around the East Coast..and connects suffer.

Thanks. I was looking for help on sites that compare local ISPs and maybe receive feedback from local users. I'm sure there are other sites out there that TIMOers know of.
