yes, the raiders were the 1st wildcard team to win the big one

i'm not sure if they were the only wildcard team to win the super bowl, but i do know they were the first (beat the eagles in '79 i think). i was a big raiders fan way back when so that is why i knew this.

i think there was another wildcard team that reached the big dance, but they did not win it...i believe it was the patriots (lost to the bears).
