Is that cold enough to take a bucket of water and toss the water into the air and it will come down as ice crystals? How cold does it have to be for that to happen? Just curious.

It hits the ground as slush. I bet if I tried it with next-to-freezing water, it might produce more interesting results.

Are you really doing a whole bucket of water? Maybe that's too much. Try just a glass. And throw it as high as you can. And make it spread out so it breaks up into little droplets. You have a digicam? Now I'm intrigued.
