Tire suggestions

It's time to replace the tires on the 2002 Toyota Camry LE (205/65/15). High performance isn't necessary, we just want something that's going to have decent wear and be good in rain and snow.

Suggestions?

Bridgestone Turanza LS-T are some very highly rated tires that aren't too hard on the pocket book.

Check the numbers on the sidewall the higher the number the higher the rating wear, a 400 is a harder and therefore lasts longer, in heat 400 withstands heat better.
A harder tire will be lower in wet traction, not as noticable in dry. If you buy 1000 tires at a time the mfg. will put any name you want on the sidewall.
Most importantly watch your air pressure, I will bet you have one underinflated tire on your vehicle right now.

I only saw Turanza LS-H LS-V and LS-Z on the Bridgestone site. http://www.bridgestonetire.com/dpp/ The last letter is just speed rating... right? Where does T fit?

S - for speeds up to 112 MPH
T - for speeds up to 118 MPH
H - for speeds up to 129 MPH
V - for speeds up to 149 MPH
Z - for speeds above 149 MPH

Here's a link to the tires at Tire Rack. Check out the ratings and reviews.

Michelins are very nice tires.

I have had great success with the Yokohama A550H. These are replacements for the older A540/520 performance tires that the ricer crowd loves so much.

The only problem with the A550H is moderate noise at 110+ MPH. This is quite evident on my Sable.

However, all weather grip is superb. This car could burn off its original Michelins with ease. I now barely get a squeek with full-throttle takeoffs.

I purchased my last set of Yokohama A550H tires at Sears while running a promotional sale. I came out under $350 for four 215/60/15 tires including mounting and balancing. Your size was even cheaper, probably closer to $300.

I've been quite happy with my Fisk Classics. Got them through my brother who works at Discount Tire Co.

Cheap tire, but excellent performance....and quiet on the road. I can slip and slide in the snow if I want to, but it takes a lot of IF, if you know what I mean

Bridgestone Turanzas are very good tires. I used to run Michelins on the family car but the Bridgestones last longer and are quite a bit cheaper. I'm not up on the rating, just call your Bridgestone dealer and explain you need a tire that you can get good mileage out of and have him give you a price quote.
