Clark Wins!! Clark Wins!!

Wesley Clark won the first votes cast in the 2004 race for the Democratic nomination in the pivotal Dixville Notch primary.

The tally was:
Clark, 8 votes,
Kerry, 3,
Edwards, 2,
Dean and Lieberman, 1 each

Clark was the only candidate that actually visited Dixville Notch.

While this town by itself doesn't equal a lot in the overall state primary...
It IS good to see that he didn't forget the little guys in small towns.
Most people just go for the places of big cities with lots of votes...
But there are a LOT of little towns... they add up.

Looks like Kerry has held off the pack and will win New Hampshire, with Dean second, Edwards third and Clark fourth.

Pretty bad showing for Wesley Clark, who skipped Iowa for no reason, apparently.

A fifth place showing may knock Joe Lieberman out.
