Wow, now I know why I hate moving, and why I am really glad to get the heck out of that neighborhood!

Being without a computer for a few days, maybe even a week, might not have been so bad, but while we were loading several boxes in the trunk, someone decided to help themselves to a box. Wanna guess what might have been in that box?

You got it, the modem, several pairs of good speakers, many different cords and such, a router and other such goodies.

When I called the cable company to find out what we had to do in this case, shetold me to go to the nearest payment office, fill out a report, and there would be no cost to us. WRONG.....

They are charging us for the old modem.... How sweet of them.

Then comes the REALLY fun part... We have to call a plumber, for repairs to the sewer... So far CE has pulled out paint chips, rags, and other assorted things fro the drain... But the guy who sold us the house had no idea the plumbing was bad.....

Ahh, thats better, I got it part of the way out of my system.....

Now, on to better things...

Glad your back online.. and just think - once the moving is done, its done.

Last time my parents moved, they 'lost' a box of family memorabilia (some of which was of high value..).
Next time, they are renting a van!

Good to see you two back here, sorry to hear the move was a bother. And sounds like the cable company needs a good kick...

Things will settle down, and then you'll be happy there!

Just takes time. Invading a small nation sounds like just the thing to take CE's mind of the problem's though!

Australia's too big, though. How about Tokelau - they have good internet access there!

OMG!!!!

CE just got off of the phone with our old landlord, after asking for a few more days due to bad weather, and she told him to take the time we needed! We got an additional 2-4 inches of snow today. This is a good reason to stay in the good graces of your landlord!

Glad to hear AC! Be sure to give good references for that landlord if you ever find someone in need of a place to stay! Wish they were all like that ( and all tenants stayed in their good graces like you guys did )
