Interesting.

I do not know what kind of HE they use but I though most HE used was similar to C4. I wonder what the real risk was if any.

lol..so evidently the problem wasnt the actual taping..it was just the WAY they went about it

Sounds like one of these stories which are very inflametory until you understand the actual risks.

Di hydrous oxide does kill thousands annually and relatively small amounts can kill you.

I wonder where the truth lies???

Ya know, it's hard to get really intelligent people to go in and disassemble old, unstable, explosive devices; and that's when they're not even radioactive!

So this is the kind of work you're gonna get:

If it don't move & it wants to: WD-40
If it moves & doesn't want to: duct tape

If there's any parts left over, just throw them out. They obviously weren't needed.
