Wonderful kauai
This place is awesome. Just spent this morning snorkeling and watching whales blowing and flapping their tails on the surface, all from the beach below our rented beach house.
So many fish from angel fish, to long skinny blue ones. I'll post some photos later, we're on the way to a coffee plantation for a tour and tasting right now. Aloha dudes.

As I sit stranded in my house during a snowstorm, the thoughts that are running through my head are anything BUT forum appropriate... |

I used to live in Nawiliwili downstream from the Menehune Fish Pond---its all different there now---but still real easy to see why its called the Garden Island---breathe in that fresh air fragranced with na pua kea, awapuhi ke okeo and pikake-- feel the unreal caress of na makani aheahe as you lay on the beach, listen, hear the delicate songs of manu? look for those frolicking kohola and naia beyond the reef---oh god why did I leave?
E ho onanea!
