Ho-hum just another blasé landing on Mars

Hardly anything on the news.

Guess this is getting to be old hat.

NASA's second Mars rover lands safely

8 pics

I guess if they find water, then they can figure out how to extract it and from there manufacture fuel.

What is the significance of grey hematitie?

Oh look, the U.S.'s health care funding has successfully joined the education funding on Mars.

What a waste.

can someone explain to me how they get the colors right on the mars pictures? From what I understand the rovers send b&w pictures only, and then the pics get enhanced. How do the peeps at NASA know what colors the stuff should be?
