Company Name Conflicts

Howdy.

Does anyone here know anything about rules governing whether or not two companies can have similiar names? Assuming, of course, that the companies are in two completely different markets, and the suffix is different. (ex. "ACME Towing, Inc." vs. "ACME Lighting Fixtures, Inc.")
