He had the best line of anyone in the debate last night.

Well, first of all, let me say this. I wanted to say to Governor Dean, don't be hard on yourself about hooting and hollering. If I had spent the money you did and got 18 percent, I'd still be in Iowa hooting and hollering.

Apparantly the Democrats take the black vote for granted to the point that he has been annointed as the most qualified black candidate to run for president as a Democrat.

If I was a minority, I'd be outraged! Well, I am a minority in California and I am still outraged!

There are hundreds of African-American leaders better qualified than Al Charlatan to run for president; even in New York, Charles Rangel has ten times the qualifications. But few have his utter gall or lack of care for the consequences to his party. I just hope he doesn't pull a Nader and run as an independent.

He just might; a lot of his backing seems to be coming from conservative white Republicans who enjoy the trouble he causes his "fellow" Democrats.
