In new pool of jobs, pay has taken a dive

Oh for crying out loud, if you start a new job, do you think they are going to pay you the same amount you made before? Even my old boss hired me back cheaper than I could have gotten paid because I had not done the job for a year. After a couple of months, he bumped my pay as I had proven that I could still do the job, which I thought was fair enough. I accepted the offer, and he produced when I did.

There are plenty of great jobs in my industry. There are so few Americans looking for jobs, we constantly hire Chinese and Indian green card holders.
