Talk Don't I know you?!

Quote:
Megan A. Whittaker, 35, of Menasha, Wis., was arrested Sunday and accused of holding up the local Q-Mart convenience store. Cops say she brandished a toy gun and forced the clerk to open the register.

Identification was easy — Whittaker was a regular customer and had recently applied for a job at the store, reported the Oshkosh Northwestern newspaper.

Whittaker realized during the robbery that the clerk knew her, police said. So she told the clerk she was her own twin sister.

Cops found Whittaker at her apartment, along with the $181 and case of beer that had been taken from the store.

She faces up to $100,000 in fines and a 40-year prison sentence.

You do not think a hundred K for armed robbery is adequate?

This woman pointed a gun at a person (real or not it was portrayed as real) and robbed someone elses money. Putting in danger all the people in the store had a cop been surprised by an exposed gun.

Nah maybe they should give her a medal or perhaps give her a job teaching pre-school.

Well, I hope it was good beer, cause it's probably the last one she'll have for a while.

A blonde calls her boyfriend on the phone and tells him she's trying to put together a jigsaw puzzle of a tiger and can he come over and help because there are too many pieces.

The boyfriend comes over and looks at the puzzle and says to her "Honey we need to have a talk. But first let's put the sugar frosted flakes back in the box."

I was just wondering if the sentence was in cope with other crimes.
Like, if you get $1k and 6month probation for beating someguy totally up, would the seriousness of a toy gun crime be in cope with someone getting beat up.
Sigh. I suck at explaining

It was, that toy gun is considered as a real gun in the states, right?
