I never thought of "Scrubs" uniforms as a fashion statement.

"EDMONTON, Alberta hospitals are losing hundreds of thousands of dollars each year as staff pilfer medical uniforms that have become a fashion statement thanks to U.S. television shows "ER" and "Scrubs," officials said."

Ok color me clueless, but WHY would anyone consider these expensive clothes as fashionable? They are some of the ugliest clothes I have ever seen.

we have some stores here called "crazy scrubs" or something, and some of them are actually kinda cool..(plus, they would make playing "doctor" that much more "realistic"... though yeah, they are reeeeeally expensive

Some of the employees conceder the scrubs as a perk. They don't have to buy "work" cloths and they can bring the scrubs back so the hospital does their laundry.

well, my father was once doing the electric work at a uniform shop and they had no used for a box of 100 sets of scrubs....so i own them all now. The thing about scrubs is they are meant to be big and are always comfortable.

I've seen people wearing them... You know, the ultra-trendy folk.

I think it's ugly. But, that's just me.
