This vicious circle could destroy Israel

Can anyone look at what is happening - Palestinians, gripped by a collective madness, committing suicide, and Israelis, under a leadership completely adrift, building more settlements so fanatical Jews can live in the heart of Palestinian-populated areas - and not conclude the following: that these two nations are locked in an utterly self-destructive vicious cycle that threatens Israel's long-term viability, poisons American image in the Middle East, undermines any hope for a Palestinian state and weakens pro-US Arab moderates?

A usually blatantly biased individual brings up some suprisingly sane points.

In the end, it all comes down the fact that neither side will yield Jerusalem to the other. The only way I can see is to make it an international city under the auspices of the UN or a non-aligned but democratic neutral party, perhaps New Zealand, Sweden or Japan.

However as there are those extremists on either side determined to eliminate the very idea of a Jewish/Palestinian state (delete as applicable), the chance of a diplomatic solution is slim unless some cataclysmic event forces reconciliation. Alien attack, for example

I watched a discovery times show which really pissed me off about terrorists. in this show this stinking terrorist scumm and his entire village should have been blown up with every last person left for the scavangers.

You see this fellar (terrorist) went into a temple or some other religious shrine and shot up a ton of people as they quietly prayed. Thank god the faithful beat the life out of the guy as he ran out of bullets. But where the town folks come into all this. Well you see there was celebration in the streets of the quaint little place. Reporters interviewed the people of this town where this terrorist was spawned. They said how wonderful the act was and I just felt like climbing through the screen and killing the scum bag myself.

Killing innocent people no matter you problems or woes is the lowest of the low. These middle eastern terrorist pukes should be rounded up and killed.

I cant see how this is called freedom fighting or anything other than pure terrorism the lowest of human actions..

Jerusalem already has a destiny and a future....so in a certain sense the "moves" of this party or that...of Sharon or Bush or Arafat...arent really going to change that destiny...it will play out the way it will play out.

In the human sense, as far as the typical man on the street watching the news..it will look like certain disaster for Israel....disaster by their foes and also disaster perhaps by their own moves.

All nations WILL come against Israel (not sure about the US though to be honest)....but it is shaping up right now quite nicely as foretold.

Perhaps now the trump card to be played will be along these lines: Libya has "come clean" and now the "Nuclear club" in the middle east is getting small....whoever has nukes will come forward as Libya has...that will leave Israel as the only Nuke bearers in the region (see---"samson option"). After the other countries have ditched their nukes..the pressure of the international community (led of course by Arab/muslim outcries against their hated Jewish enemies) will become great on Israel to do the same. I have a feeling Israel will refuse because they know it would be suicide.

But either way it will lead to a LARGE coalition attacking Israel...led by, hehe, Russia. The same Russia who interestingly has been quite active in pushing forth the "Road Map"

Well you have convinced me that israeli jews are bad CM.

I am already convinced that palestinians are bad.


The cause is old rivalries. So with this in mind I say we should separate them.

Lets get rid of utah and give it to either party and separate them. No one lives there anyway.

One party has to leave and the other party gets the land. The stipulation being that the party who remains must have an inclusive government for all remaining parties who choose to be part of the country.

Since we are being so generous giving these people their own land we require that they not attack us. As such we will be placing several hundred mass destruction weapons such as our multi megaton warheads through out the state. These wareheads will be armed and set to trigger by popular vote of all americans. (a super majority of say 75 to 85%.) If too much trouble begins or if expansion begins their sovereignty will be shattered.

This area will no longer be considered us territory so they will have complete sovereignty.

The state I am choosing is not fixed it could be a coastal state as well. Washington state would be too cold so I would suggest small portion of california be a possible second site.
