Although my father doesn't work for Ford directly, he works for a company that supplies dashboards to the Orangeville Ontario Truck plant.

He hasn't been told what is going on at his work yet, but everyone is assuming that there will be serious layoffs as a result of the closure. Sure Ford is laying off 35,000 people in thier organization, but the overall affect will be substantial.

If anyone wants to know the potential impact on Orangeville Ontario Canada, they should watch the movie Roger & Me by Micheal Moore. Although it deals with General Motors and their impact upon Flint Michigan, I'm pretty sure that there will be a similar impact upon Orangeville.

I'm sure the following faces reflect the feelings of many people.
