Since my birthday was the 13th my dad asked me if i would like to see Stomp in DC. I really didnt know what to think about a bunch of people making there own music with trash but let me tell you it was one of the best preformances i have seen in a long time!
They did not say one word to the audience but had all of us laughing so hard. that right there is impressive! (even if i was recovering from a hang over from the night before)
side note: hey Vass and Wart i went to a bar in DC called Rumors, dont go it sucks!
Funny you mention this show as just the other day I saw a tv commercial on it and thought: oh man, that be a hectic havoc of cacophonous NOISE! - but my friend who saw said it was very good, also.
I have one of their DVDs and it's cool. The wife hates it when I play it thru the surround system.(loud usually..)
I think the name of it is Stomp out loud.
Do you remember when they did the Coke commercial a long time ago, the one where they had the trashcans strapped to their feet? That was cool...

Stomp is actually a really great show live. It's funny though, most people my age don't like seeing that, but I gladly tell them where they can stick their opinion.
Of course I don't like Stomp as much as I like seeing the Blue Man Group, but they are still both so neat.
