Kerry Wins, Edwards second in Iowa

The resurgence of the Kerry campaign was especially impressive. Dean, on the other hand, is an even bigger loser than the numbers indicate, since he'd been leading for so long.

Rep. Dick Gephardt will apparently drop out today.

Dean is not a complete liar.

"I did not get in this race to be second"

Well that was true

The rebel yell was pretty funny too. Sounded like a crazy man who could not remember half the states.

Yep, Gephardt wrecked Dean's campaign and his own with his idiotic attacks on Dean. Now he's dropping out. I only hope he drops out of politics altogether. Way to go, Dick.

Ahh politics.....I must admit that something in me enjoys seeing arrogance humbled...(speaking of Dean)

Of all the Dems I think I like Kerry the best. Other than a few of the issues I would even consider voting for him myself.

If it comes to down to Kerry or Bush, there's no question in my mind. I'd vote for almost anyone but Bush. But Kerry is too attached to big business for my liking and has been in the Senate for a long time. That's a plus and a minus, but I'm concerned he's too much a typical Washington insider. I may be wrong, but that's my gut instinct. Still, after Dean I would have gone with Kerry as a candidate, so it's all still good. And history has shown us that Iowa is not always the key primary. New Hampshire will be a big indicator of who will go the distance.

Sharpton would be the most fun.

They guy has a sharp tongue. Reminds me of my 12 grade chemistry teacher. Grover Smith.

As I have predicted, Edwards begins his ascent. He's the only one who hasn't really been bashing other candidates or jumping on the pro/anti war bandwagons (I'm saying he's not making it the big issue other candadates are). He's focusing on domestic issues and doing a fine job of campaigning.

As for Kerry, I think I've already stated my opinion of him.
