Looks like they got some dialog all right!! The "artwork" achieved its goal perfectly.

ambassadors do nothing on their own or they are recalled. IMHO he followed instructions.
The ambassador should be expelled and the embassy closed. This is not diplomacy it is intimidation and vandalism.

How long before they start destroying the musems in the U.S. Since when is it aceptable to destroy something you do not agree with or dislike?

The "artwork" was a picture of a terrorist that killed 22 Israeli civilians. She is supposed to be Snow White. The picture was floating on what is represented to be a vat of blood. IMO it was intended to provoke an emotional reaction. I suppose if he didn't damage the piece, but rather strapped explosives on his body and blew up 22 Swedes he would have gotten praise.

IMO as art goes it looked like a piece of crap. Maybe he's not a bad politician, but rather a good critic.

Don't get me wrong though I do not support this guys action. But I do understand it.

He as an ambasador needs to rise above the stupidity of the art community.
