Great Custom Bookwall
Angela's and my house was overflowing with books. One of our bookcases was a hastily thrown together pile of cheap wood. It had poorly designed shelves that wasted a lot of space.

Solution? Commission a custom-designed bookwall from an artisan. Where would we find such an individual? Why, right here on TIMO! Yes, this beautiful piece of work was designed and built by our very own . . . Knothead! Knothead and Bookwall

Although we had envisioned this as a built-in unit, Knot cleverly designed it so that it can be broken down and moved (if and when we do). It's constructed of oak and oak plywood for the shelves. The finish is hand-applied stain and lacquer. The photos do not fully capture the beautiful scrollwork and other features, but they're the best I could do. Kudos to Knothead, a truly talented individual (not to mention all-round nice guy)! Final Product

Awww...Thank You, Pexster and Angela!

This was the first project in my new shop, and how cool that it should be commissioned by my TechIMO friends!!

There are a few stories connected with this project...mostly how I drove these guys crazy with unexpected changes (mostly specification "corrections"...HAHAHAHA!) but the thing that made me so glad was the fact that these guys (Pexster and Angela) always rolled with it, and by working together, we created a very nice piece (I hate to brag, HAHAHA, yeah, right but the real thing is a delight, if I may say so myself ).

The last pic with all the books really looks cool!

Thank you for the trust and encouragement, Angela and Pexster, and I am very, very happy to have made this for you! May it serve you for all the years of your lives, and I hope you can feel my affection for you every time you see it!
