Where have all the soldiers gone ???
Gone to graveyards, everyone, when will they ever learn, when will they ever learn. http://www.sunspot.net/news/nationwo...orld-headlines
Most of the deaths, 362, have occurred since President Bush declared the end to major combat in Iraq on May 1. In contrast, the war in Afghanistan has cost the lives of 100 U.S. soldiers, the Pentagon says.
Bush has GOT to go without question.

462 U.S. soldiers dead in two major conflicts is a horrendous amount. That's approaching epidemic proportions.

Almost rivals the murder rate in American cities.

OMG! That's even worse.
NYC had 673 homicides in 2000 alone.
2,617 died in the Sept 11 attacks on the World Trade Center.

Aye, even for your sarcasm Atomic, it is. 600 families are now without a son/father/husband or even daughter/mother/wife.

Not to mention all the families who lost the same by the Taliban and Saddam.
Noble causes have their price. S*** happens.
At least our country finally said "Enough is enough."
Seems like many of the EU countries said "Hey, we're making money here. Don't rock the boat."

How many lives are effected ?????
Quote: Originally posted by Optimus Prime Aye, even for your sarcasm Atomic, it is. 600 families are now without a son/father/husband or even daughter/mother/wife. | When the most popular guy in the neighborhood got killed in Viet Nam ( land mine, came back in a shoebox ), the church was standing room only. We all cried. Having been only in the Army for four months with his whole life in front of him or so he ,as we all did, in front of him. Multiply that 600 by, relatives, friends, employers, people they worked and played with and the number becomes exponential. What effect did it have on his buddies that had to witness such an event, or the medics that picked up the peices. The guy that had to go to his Mother's home and give her the bad news. Now you can't even see the arrival home of these unfortunate, faithful servants of our blind President.
Bush has GOT to go.
