You being a culinary pathfinder, I was wondering if you've ever had ostrich steaks. We were at
Kennedy's in Urbana tonight and they had ostrich steaks on the specials list. I was sorely tempted, but they also had pork tenderloin in apple brandy sauce and I'm a sucker for that, so I went with the old favorite rather than venturing into new and foreign lands.
Is ostrich closer to chicken or duck (or is it even ostrich)?
