I usually think these lawsuits are ridiculous, but I must admit, this would be pretty nauseating.

I don't think the lawsuit is ridiculous. There would be hell to pay if someone put such in my soup. The object could have been a finger clot. The restaurant might not have made the soup. They could have bought it in a can. Restaurants use LARGE cans of soup.

This is probably one step up from putting something in your meal to get a fee meal from the restaurant.
