since september the date of deposit on my ss check has moved from the third of the month to the fifteenth. This rate of constantly setting the date back will soon equate to eleven checks in twelve months a hefty rearranging of funds to make the deficit look better.

Who pays the most taxes an American making 15.00 per hr or three aliens making 5.00 each. The cost to the employer is the same but three dont pay taxes.
Like it or not without taxes the government stops.
Last semester we had a discussion on deficit spending and a retired master sgt. us army made the statement "if the government needs more money they can just print more" the awful part is he was serious and doesn't see anything wrong with that.

Actually it's not the same cost to the employer. It will cost him more to employ the American as he has to pay SS taxes on him.

I served with a lot of Master Sgt when I was in the Army but I really don't think they come THAT dumb, do they. Perhaps a dumb attempt at humor but surely he wasn't REALLY serious, was he?
