I have a '98 Malibu. I wish they'd recall it for the leaky gasket where the coolant enters the block. It's very common in the Chevy 3.8L built around that time.

I had an 89 Regal that had a "silent recall" on the door hinges. Driving down the road, the door was not quite closed all the way so I opened it to close it and it fell off at about 50mph. It was very dangerous because the seatbelt was built into the door. I found out from the dealer later that they fix the problem free of charge but not until it breaks. I'm surprised that problem hasn't been reported in the news.
