The Rocket Returns to Texas

Roger Clemens retires from being retired. Seems like athletes these days cant occupy themselves at home with the wife and kids.

It seems like they "occupy themselves" more frequently on the road than they do at home (if you get my meaning).

Seriously, though, Houston could be a decent team with Pettite and Clemens.

When a person retires at 41 what do you expect?? Of course the expected 7 Million a year probably wouldnt hurt his feelings either.
7 Million a year !?? to play ball??

Makes me wish I had gone sports instead of into the military.

Except people like Clemens earn every cent that they make. It's scary that someone at his age can do what he does...

Superstars just don't want to quit. Look at how many times MJ retired.

In MJ's case he coulda went out on top, but he was a moron and decided to play for the wonderful Wizards. Clemens I guess wants to go out on top, or at least try back in his hometown. It shall be interesting having Clemens in the NL.

Very cool! I love to watch the guys who do it well for so long. I hope he returns to dominance after a sligthly down-year last year. Houston is by no means a pitchers park, though.

no offense, and in some ways I know I am wrong for saying this....but dude deserves to get beaned in the face a few times by some gnarly 98mph fastballer.

Justice would be served, lol.

Am I correct that RC will now ACTUALLY BE BATTING FOR HIMSELF?
