How messed is Wal-Mart...

...messed enough to take out life insurance on their own employees...and name themselves as the beneficiary.

Fortunately, the courts put a stop to it.

The article mentions its not an uncommon practice for big corporations. Wonder who else does it and doesn't tell the employees?

Also, sounds like the govt made some changes to tax laws to make it less enticing for corporations to do this. If so, that's one thing they got right!

Cheers
Mick

Heh, yep! This Gov't gets it right every so often.

Wal-Mart. The modern equivalent of a plague of locusts.... work 'em for pissant wages 'till they drop dead...

Then capitalize on THAT!
