English dominance threatened (read this, groundzero)

The heineken cup is a competition played out between european rugby union clubs. As far as Celtic Rugby is concerned there's only 4 clubs that can win the Rugby Union heineken cup. This is the year of the Celtic League (Scotland, Ireland, Wales).

Llanelli Scarlets - dominant in the Celtic League, will be surprising if anyone other than Llanelli, Ulster or Edinburgh can challenge for the title. Have been an exceptionally consistant side this season, defeated only twice in ten matches.
Ulster Rugby - Top side in europe 1999 and Celtic Cup winners over Edinburgh. Ulster were victorious in the Celtic Cup over Edinburgh in an extremely closely fought match. I'm rooting for Ulster as Heineken Cup finalists.
Edinburgh Rugby - Major underdogs, unbeaten having faced tough competition from Leeds, last season's champs Toulouse and The Ospreys. The scots have had an impressive season reaching the final of the Celtic Cup and have mounted an impressive challenge on the Celtic League. Favourable odds.
Munster Rugby - Another strong irish challenge to the throne. Twice finalists, Munster are VERY well placed to take a quarter final place and always seem to be the team to watch. Being only 7th in the Celtic League, they have good odds. IMO they've a very good chance of reaching the final.

so the above betting guide Is as good as I get. But If you're still confused and require two clubs to decide between to bet for I seriously suggest:
Llanelli Scarlets OR
Ulster Rugby

My BIG money is on Llanelli Scarlets.

Well wart, If your money is on twice finalists Munster, then so be it. But it seems that this year belongs to Llanelli Scarlets. So it might be worth money putting money on the Scarlets. IMO they're my team of 2003/2004. (even if they are welsh!)

I haven't really paid attention to the Celtic League this season.

BTW - I am sure Piggy was just joking with his team selection. He just saw Munsters.

Also BTW - Nevermind!

Groundzero, your name was in the title because I know you love rugby, man .

BBC sometimes have radio commentary (celtic league games are on friday evenings GMT)

ps it doesnt look like bbc cover the games live. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/rugb...es/default.stm
i'll check back if they do offer a realplayer stream of the game.

pps. Mike: come over some time when the Celtic League is in full flow (how about now? :P) and i'll take you to see Edinburgh play some team. All of the Celtic League fixtures are exciting, so it matters not a jot which we could see :P

Guys... BBC are not showing it, as Sky picked up the Heineken Cup this season (and the next couple I believe...)

They are showing a fair amount of the games, which is a bonus

And anyone with money on Llanelli is a wise, wise man

If Sky Network picked up the series, I imagine that Fox Sports World may be carrying some of the games. Try checking their broadcast schedule to see if Fox has it.
