NOVA - The Mars Spirit Expedition on right now

NOVA / PBS / KCET. The 2nd installment (first was Sunday) Tuesday 01.06.04 8pm SoCali time.

Very interesting and cool .. what's happening now with the Mars rover, Spirit, and JPL in Pasadena, CA.

Those guys are the ultimate in geeks. I envy them =) I'll let them design wastewater systems for a day... and I'll go steer Spirit around!

What a series of rushes that has to be. A project that culminates in a rocket launch... only to start all over again on another planet 6 months later. How cool is that.

No kidding, Gomer! Don't pop any wheelies, now. They're a brilliant team to get this exploration to succeed (so far) beyond all expectations.

Very cool link, Knot. I've been trying to get over to NASA's site since Sunday, thanks for making it easier
