Ebay Feedback

I am of the opinion that the seller should reward a buyer with feedback before the buyer to the seller.

Am I wrong on this?

I've been burnt around 20 or more times by sellers never giving feedback after I have given positive feedback.

What stinks is once you've left feedback you can't amend it to at least neutral in light of their rudeness.

Happens more often with "power" sellers. Guess they don't care.

Yeah.. the poll voting here has been mucked up for awhile, but just click the link, and your vote will then be counted.

I do not give feedback anymore upfront, unless the seller really impresses me with email... I always ask questions, and depending on their responses.. I may not even bid on an item. If all is well, and the product was as described (even not working, if that was the way it was described) I will leave positive feedback...anything other than that, and I don't leave any. A neutral or negative feedback will only get the buyer one in return.

Besides that, I am about thru with eBay. 5 out of the last 8 or 9 items have been defective...and misrepresented in the auction. Seems like eBay has really gone downhill with the quality of sellers in the past 2/3 years or so.

The buyer should always leave feedback first,IMO.

I have had good luck with Ebay so far,I did get burned once on a feedback, and once someone welched on a deal, but everything I have bought was in good shape.
