Kids Chihuahua figure in memory of departed friend...

Our 8 month old chihuahua died saturday evening and I wanted to get a small figure of a chihuahua to make a christmas ornament or something for my wife. She is taking it very hard and I wanted to do something really nice for her other than getting a new dog (too soon).

Our dog was one of the skinny necked chihuahua's with the big round head. He was black and tanish/whiteish. His color almost made him look like he was older than he really was.

Anybody know which companies make nice figures medium to small in size? Places in the same league as franklin mint and some of those other shops that you see in the mall.

This site seams to have a decent collection.

If you were to buy a figurine, the local craft store should have the rest of the supplies needed to create an ornament.

Good Luck, and so sorry to hear of your loss.

Thanks PrisonKids.

Much thanks, but they just have the chihuahuas with the fat neck and stubby muzzle. We had the Skinny taco bell type chihuahua only he was black and tanish/white.

Here are two pictures that I have of JoJo. The first pic is the first day we brought him home. And the second pic was early morning saturday before he died. It happened so fast. He was fine and playing, then got sick as the day progressed. By 9pm he was dead. Funny how such a small creature can have such a large impact on your life.

For anyone that saw the Pitbull thread the Pit puppy is there with JoJo in the last pic. We're still trying to find a nice home for him.
