Arizona people please help

Hi I'm flying down to Arizona next week (well the 23rd) to visit my Mom & Dad. They are staying in the Mesa area.

I've only been there once about 8 years ago and didn't stay for a long time (couple of days). I'm going to be there for a week over Christmas and was wondering what are some memorable places to see?

My brother mentioned something about Sedona. I hope this doesn't sound too dense but what other places should I visit? Preferrably within like a 1-3 hr drive.

Thanks

OK. Around Phoenix/Mesa:

Mesa Southwest Museum
San Carlos Apache Reservation
Superstition Mountains (Lost Dutchman's Mine)

Tucson is about two hours away:

Old Tucson
Tombstone (Boot Hill, OK Corral)
Bisbee (restored ghost town)
Saguaro National Monument (like a national forest, but with Saguaro cactus)
Arizona Desert Sonoran Museum

There's lots more, but this is off the top of my head.

not sure where it is from your area but Petrified Forest is up there somewhere

Maybe PM AzKidd or Praetorian, they're both from the AZ area
