I got orders to England...
Ok guys, as most of you know I'm military...I just found out that I am being sent to England, north of London. (can't specify exactly where)

Regretably, I will have to depart from my 6 yr old son, Tyler.


I knew it would happen eventually, but that doesn't make it any easier...

Can anyone that's been there/lived there/still living there tell me a little about the place?

Martoch man I wish you luck. When do you ship out? Do you even know how long you are heading over for? Last time I was in England I was a little kid when I went with my folks.

Well, it's nice to hear you get to spend x-mass with family.

Still, hard to imagine having to leave such a cute little guy for any length of time.

That's the thing...I could be away from him for 3 years...or 10.

This is just a lot to swallow right now...I knew it would eventually happen, but having it happen is different. I signed my name on the dotted line...

It's a normal 3 year rotation, nothing war related.

Its never easy to leave a loved one for any length of time, especially a young bundle of joy. But I beleive that those that toch your heart are always with you, and he will know his dad loves him.
