A swastika
If I was wearing a swastika on a necklace, what would you think of me?

I would think that you're like most of the KKK or Neo-Nazis that I have met, ignorant and moronic. Most of them have no idea on who Hitler was, or what Hitler was about. (Best not bring that up in this thread).
That's about all. Why, do you wear one?

Would depend WHY you wear it, and how closely your head was shaved.
Swastika is just a symbol. By itself, doesn't mean anything. But it's the importance YOU attach to it that makes it significant.
If I saw someone wearing one, I wouldn't really think twice, unless by their manner, words and actions they indicated what I would think if as a "NeoNazi attitude" (everyone else except them and their mates are worthless). Then I would probably avoid them like the plague. But not BECAUSE of the swastika - because of how they behaved.
That's me, though. I try not to judge books by their covers, but by their content.
Cheers
Mick

I'd probably think you were trying to make a statement about how "cool" you were. You know the type: "It's all about you, isn't it?" You swear in public where you can be overheard, you use your window rattling base just for kicks, becase you can.
So why would you would think anything about wearing a swastika? It dosen't mean anything to you. It is a free country, you know. Why should you care what it means to others?
Eh, punk?

Back in the 60's it was more the symbol of an outlaw or a biker. But slowly it becames re-associated with the neo-Nazi movement, and the Arian brotherhood prison gang. To minorities it means you are a racist. Most people find it offensive, and so do I. To me it is an anti-social statement about Arian racial superiority.
Even though I am half German I would consider it false to pride myself in a vain belief of having any ethnic superiority in my genes.

It would depend on the swastika. (Which way it was turned.)
Like a lot of things it wasn't original to hitler, his use / misuse of it is why it is associated so closely with him and the nazi party.
It has a history with the Navajo indians, far predating hitler. The difference is in the way it is turned (rotation). Hitler flipped it over.

I'd think you're either a devout Buddhist or a Nazi. Probably more the Nazi.

No, I'd go with the devout Buddhist.

I would think you were an *** hole. If I were in Germany I'd call the polizei and have you arrested or have the item confiscated since such items are illegal there, or at least they use to be when I was in Germany. Although the police probably wouldn't answer a call like that very quickly. They may even laugh and tell you to mind your own business. But still, none the less. I'd think you were an *** hole.
In spite of the fact the symbol may not have originated with Hitler, unfortunately now it IS associated with Hitler, period. Anyone who wears one knows damn well the message they are telling the world. (Unless they really are a complete moron.)
