Well said, samwichse! I move that we create a no holds barred political forum. That way everyone else can stop by to smell the flowers and not end up sniffing dog doo.

I am continually amazed at the people who are upset by political threads.

Why do people read threads they know are going to upset them why not simply watch for little amusing threads and enter them.

Ignore or don't ignore.

The problem with splitting up the community is you end up with people spending less time in either respective community. in a sense slowing responses and eventually killing off traffic.

I enjoy the fast moving format. Where every one is exposed to both types of posts and is either drawn in or not. I enjoy an occasional political thread if that is not apparent. but I also enjoy jumping into an are britneys ***** real thread. Or a my hampster ate my cat thread.

To split it up will make it less fun.

LMAO...I first read that as "I enjoy jumping into britneys *****"...maybe because I wanted to, but nonetheless I got a chuckle out of it.

I don't partake in the political threads because I'm right and you're wrong and there's no reason to discuss it.
