Well, I thought they presented an interesting spectrum of opinion from service members. Obviously, my opinions are closer to those of some of the writers than to others, but there it is.

Not to put too fine a point upon it, but it's nice to get a broader view sometimes. And people speak for themselves better than I do, anyway.

I heard parts of that interview. Terry Gross was tough but O'Liely hit back.

He was at a book signing in Long Island a couple of weeks ago. If I knew he was going to be there I would have asked where he lived as a kid - what his address was. He repeatedly says he is from Levitown, LI - a working class area. However, the truth is he was from a wealthy family from Westbury. The fox website covers it as the 'Levittown section of Westbury' which is fallacious - no such place exists. http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,155,00.html
